- recent - | Cocke'n Kettle - Uxbridge Massachusetts Restaurant Reviews This review has been submitted by a visitor to our site. Rating: 5 / 5 We arrived with out reservations on a Saturday night. There was a short wait in the lounge. We enjoyed a drink, was served complimentary hors d'oeuvres, and was entertained by a fun band. We were soon seated in a beautiful dining room by a friendly hostess near an old styled fireplace. The decor is warm and comfortable. Our waitress was knowledgable about the wine list and the affordable extensive menu. Their are meals have different price ranges that are sure to please all. I chose the Petite Filet cooked to perfection. My date ordered Baked Stuffed Haddock with lobster topping. We chose the house potatoe, delmonico, hard to find in most other places. The best part is the popovers. They came around with corn fritters too. So much for such a reasonable price. Their prices are within the price range of other nice restaurants, but the extras is what makes it such a great place to dine. We looked at the desert tray and decided to share some creme brulee. It was delicious. It was a great dining experience and will definetly return. Highly reccommend for a special occasion or just a nice night out.
