Home of Stump Pond

I adore Westboro. Many of my friends live here. There are awesome restaurants here and a great local bookstore. I used to work here for a while! And, best of all, it has Stump Pond. Stump Pond was a forest area which they flooded to make a pond - but they didn't take out the trees. Over the years the trees fell over, making a really cool kayaking location. There just aren't many like it!





Definitely visit Tatnuck Booksellers in Westboro. Also, I enjoy Cheng Du.

Westboro Trivia

Some spell it Westborough with the full "ough" - while others prefer the shorter Westboro version. I'm one for simplicity.

Westboro was town number 100 in Massachusetts!

Westboro used to be part of Marlboro, but it escaped. And then a chunk of Westboro escaped from it, becoming Northboro.

Eli Whitney Jr. of cotton gin fame was born in Westboro!
